Latest Event Updates
Weekly update #6
Here we are with new weekly update!
We ended up with some new features this week:
– New Plate Armor set
This set is quite heavy, but protects its owner from almost everything (except the heat). It’s a great choice for slow defending units.
Guardian feels well, when he wears this armor. He enjoys being protected.
– New battle video
We’re constantly improving battle gameplay. We’re trying to make Sterk more involved in the fighting process – and now he’s able to use fighting stance.
And check out new Stone Warrior! Looks more threatening, doesn’t it?
With some minor changes fights now look more interesting, and the game becomes more fun to play!
That’s all for this week!
Thank you for following us, for your attention and patience! 😉
Weekly update #5
Hello, everyone!
Weeks keep passing, and we keep posting updates every Sunday, as we promised. This day is not an exception.
This update is going to be brief, because we focused on inventory and did a great job to implement it. See for yourself:
– Inventory
Here you can see Sterk changing his armor. The choice may depend not only on player’s visual preferences, but on the current game situation as well!
– New armor set
This new armor is called Temple Vanguard armor and it’s a great medium armor, mostly made of stubbed leather. It doesn’t slow its wearer down and grants significant protection against beasts. This set is an excellent choice for hunters and fast-moving squads.
Bonus: Epic screenshot!
We are constantly making progress on the boss fight!
That’s all for this week!
Thank you for your feedback and attention! Stay with us and enjoy more cool content every week! 😉
Weekly update #4
One more week has passed, and we are not wasting our time!
Let’s have a look at what we’ve added to our game:
– Boss and its location
Rumors call this giant terrifying worm “Demon of the Deep”. It lives deep underground, constantly digging endless tunnels for its labirinth. They say, it’s as old as the world is. Long time ago, when Creach was young, the Demon was created to possess souls of evil, cursed and mad people.
This duty has corrupted the Demon, and now it lives deep underground, rarely showing its face to the sun. They say, it hunts truly evil souls.
Anyway, it’s just a legend… Which turned out to be a horrible reality!
We’re constantly working on this enemy and its location, and on the screenshot above you may see our current progress.
– Different traps
Now Creach has become even more dangerous: we’ve added a lot of different traps: fire traps, pitfalls, spikes, stunning traps and arrows being shot from the walls.
Sterk’s facing a lot of problems, trying to survive this hell.
– New enemy: Stone Warrior
They came from the far east. They have no story: no past, no future. The only thing Stone Warriors have is rage and insatiable desire to kill human beings.
Stone Warrior is tough. It doesn’t get tired, it doesn’t speak, and – the worst thing here – it’s big and strong.
– New HUD
We’re constantly making progress on our HUD, figuring out how to make it look better. Check out the new version of the HUD by watching the video below.
Here you can watch all of the updates right in the action:
Sterk’s night at the city of Coradeen turned into a nightmare: various deadly traps, fighting with the Stone Warrior…
– Basic dialogue system
Now Sterk’s able to talk with the other people. He may choose information he needs to know and share his opinion with his interlocutors.
Here you can see Sterk talking to the Guard of the Temple.
Thank you for your attention!
Stay tuned and don’t forget to tell us what you like or don’t like in our game – we appreciate your feedback!
Great monthly update #1
A month has passed since the announcement of “Creach: The Depleted World”
Though we haven’t released a playable version yet, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback. It greatly motivates us to work harder on the game! Here’s some new stuff:
– Changes in the fighting system
In our previous update we showed you new animations – combo attacks, finishing, falling and getting off the ground. Now Sterk actively uses them in the battle.
We’ve improved the beast’s AI and added a slam attack for it. When it performs a slam attack, it can knock Sterk down, but if it hits the wall, it gets stunned. Sterk can use his magic abilities to protect himself: for example, he may put a stone wall on the beast’s way.
And the last one: now Sterk’s weapon has an alternative mode, and he can switch between it and the normal mode.
– Basic HUD
In the top-left part of the screen you may see some of the current Sterk’s characteristics:
- Health. When someone attacks Sterk, or when he falls from the high ground, the health decreases. If it falls to zero, Sterk dies. He is not happy about it.
- Mana. Sterk needs it to use his magic abilities.
- Stamina. Needed to perform active actions like jumping or running.
- Combo. Accumulates when Sterk attacks someone. It’s used to perform special attacks, which deal an increased damage.
We added an enemy health bar to the HUD as well, so it’s easier to control the battle now.
– New battle music
Our team’s grown recently: Jake Harley, a composer, now works with us. He’s capable of creating great music and sound effects, and he’s written a battle song for us.
– New magic sphere for Sterk
This sphere is able to control energy flows, and it helps Sterk to cast magic spells.
All of the mentioned above you may see in our new video:
And, in the end… A BOSS FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT!
If you watched the full video, you must have seen a huge terrifying monster attacking Sterk.
What is it? Where has it come from? Don’t worry: we’ll reveal some of its secrets in our next update.
That’s all for this week! Thank you for your attention and feedback!
Stay tuned and prepare for more updates every week!
As the time goes by, we’re making a good progress!
Let’s look at what we’ve done this week:
– Mostly finished starting location
You’ve been watching the development of our ancient Temple for these three weeks, but it’s the first time we decided to show you an overview of the whole location.
The top part of the Temple.
The bottom part of the Temple.
We are still working on the location.
We are preparing an article, which describes the history of the Temple and its role in the game.
– Combo attacks and new animations for Sterk
Here you can see some raw animations.
This deadly pirouette will leave no chances for an incautious enemy.
This animation helps Sterk to finish knocked down foes. It’s a bit more difficult than it may seem.
If Sterk falls to the ground in his turn, he will easily stand up and continue fighting.
The next week you’ll be able to watch new abilities right in the action!
That’s all for this week!
As always, thank you for your attention and feedback! We appreciate it 😉
Weekly update #2!
Here comes our second weekly update!
We prepared some cool additions to our game during this week:
– Smithy and new stuff for the Temple
Blacksmith is not here, but the forging furnace is warmed up, so he couldn’t leave the smithy for a long time.
– Magic skills and new animations for Sterk
Here you can see some new animations: hanging on the crossbar, new falling (when Sterk falls from the high ground) and new attack animations.
And we finally taught Sterk some magic! Now he can use a stone shot to hit enemies at a distance and put stone barriers on the battlefield to protect himself.
– Two new types of triggers and camera rotation
As said, we added two types of triggers: a lever and a button. And as you can see, Sterk easily copes with them.
Also this video shows an ability to rotate camera, so you can have some overview of the surroundings.
That’s it! Thank you for your feedback and attention! You guys motivate us to work more intensively on the game! 😉

First weekly update!
The time has come for our first update!
This week was good, and we ended up with some new features:
– New location – the Temple
It is the starting location for our hero. People here are doomed to live their lives in abandoned building, lost in the deserted unfriendly lands, because trying to inhabit huge ancient cities is far more dangerous!
– An ability to hang and to use stairs for Sterk
Here you can see the preview:
As said, Sterk can hang and climb on the high ground and use ladders to get to the places he couldn’t reach before this update 😉 And Mouseville band, as always, helps him with good ambient music!
– New weapon for Sterk
Well, Sterk is quite happy about it.
OK, that’s it! Thank you for tracking us on IndieDB, watching our previews and showing interest to our game! We greatly appreciate it!
